From Nowhere

You are not in this moment, you are this moment.

Meditation is letting go of the story. It is resting in an open awareness that is not attached to any singular point of experience, but allows experience to flow within it without judgment, criticism, or any attempt to direct outcome. It is absolute rest without the act of resting. Meditation is seeing the world from before the seer. Before the doer. Meditation is not an action, but you as experience itself. Becoming the sight, the sensation, the sound. Dancing playfully as consciousness. Meditation is the realization that there is no difference between our breath and the wind. They both come from nowhere and disappear into nothingness. Meditation is the realization that we are already, and have always been complete. That there was never any problem to solve. And that we imagined the problem in the first place.

Allow the tightness within to loosen.

Soften to this moment just as it is.

Release the grip on expectation

That this moment should be one way or another

That you should be doing anything specific

This moment comes as it is.

And like water we mold to it.

Steady and heavy, we form the present ourselves.

Thoughts come almost as if from nowhere.

They just appear.

We notice them, we allow them,

And then they fade away. Into the space

From which they came.

The sensation of the chair

Your feet on the ground.

That unmistakable sound

The color on the back of your eyelids.

Let sensation appear without naming it,

Without describing it.

Let them be pure presence.

Let them be you.

You are that sensation

In entirety

That thought in your head

The soundtrack of to dos

And judgement.

The images playing like a movie in your mind

Let them be, just as they are

Arising from nowhere, and returning to

Nowhere.

For just a moment

Let this be everything

No past

No imagined future

There is only this

And this

And this.
